For more than 20 years, Tracy Hirst has been a fixture on the Brisbane food scene, turning out innovative and delicious food to Queensland diners. She has worked as executive chef in some of the state’s finest restaurants. Most recently she has guided the highly successful team at Primal Pantry and Wilde Kitchen.
Tracy was one of the founding members of one of Brisbane’s first health conscious café and was solely responsible for menu development and food styling.
Her passion and attention to detail in food styling sees her creations regularly sought for print media and social media.
Tracy is well known in the health food scene. Restaurants, cafes and wellness magazines seek her out to help them develop recipes and fresh concepts for their businesses.
Tracy has managed her own company, providing private and corporate catering. The successful business specialised in cakes, pastries and desserts for the high end market, including Queensland’s Orient Express.
Her work is regularly reviewed and celebrated in the food media, including Vogue Entertaining + Travel , Gourmet Traveller, Delicious, The Courier Mail, The Sydney Morning Herald, Urbane List and Gourmand & Gourmet.
Tracy and her family are keen travellers, always looking for inspiration from the traditions and food cultures of other countries. Tracy also collects culinary and gastronomic literature and artefacts.
